The Morning Star Builders team is committed to building functional, livable homes with attention to creating distinctive details in each house. Morning Star Builders, a design/build firm, has been a Preferred Builder in High Meadow Ranch since 2002 and is currently a Premier Builder. In the Fall of 2007 Morning Star Builders will also begin building in the Hidden Falls Subdivision. Morning Star Builders, a registered builder through the Texas Residential Construction Commission (TRCC), is a member of the Greater Tomball Chamber of Commerce and the Better Business Bureau. Morning Star Builders values its relationships with trades and suppliers. It takes a great deal of focused work by each team member to deliver a custom home that exceeds your expectations.




Ted Cummins serves as the CCO (Chief Creative Officer) for Morning Star Builders LTD. In this position Ted brings his creative passion for design to the custom home building process. He is a Graduate Master Builder (GMB), a designation specified by the National Association of Home Builders which requires the completion of educational courses and experience in the building industry.

Ted is a member of the Greater Houston Builder's Association and the Custom Builders Council. He worked with the Builders Blitz 2006 Habitat for Humanity project in the Houston area. Ted has served on the design committee for his church during the last building project.

When not working on a design project, Ted spends time dirt bike riding with his sons, Heath and Blake. Ping Pong is his all time favorite sport. He volunteers weekly with Men's Life at his church.




Yvonne Cummins, a Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS), assists in universal design and creating barrier free homes and serves as a charter member of the Great Houston Builders Association (GHBA) 50+ Housing Council. Other duties include handling administrative and bookkeeping responsibilities.

Yvonne homeschools teenage sons, Heath and Blake. Yvonne's hobbies include scrapbooking, reading, and Bible study. Ted and Yvonne attend Cypress Bible Church and are involved in Marriage Ministry.






Michael Elledge works as the field project manger. He expertly supervises the on site construction of each home working with the contractors and the home owner. His Chevy truck serves as his mobile office. Michael is a practiced craftsman and produces Civil War replica cannons.













Jack Savage works as the Customer Care Manager. Jack has worked in a variety of positions for Morning Star Builders during the last 6 years. In this position Jack works with the homeowner to assist in the selection process. Jack is a gifted musician who sings in the choir at his church.
