Morning Star Builders is dedicated to building functional, livable homes with attention to creating distinctive details in each home. Provided here are just a few of the distinct elements that you will find in many of our homes.
Master Bathrooms
The focal point of the master bathroom is the dramatic rough fir pergola that enhances the tub. The pergola rests on the granite surround of the tub. Cultured stone adorns one wall and the sides of the tub surround. Granite countertops were designed to follow the curvature of the porcelain drop in sinks for visual interest. The vanity cabinets incorporated bead board and a decorative center bracket to support the arched countertop. The vanities were faux finished.
Kitchens
This kitchen makes a statement through the use of contrasting finishes of the cabinetry from the fruitwood stained alder wood to the faux finish on the island and cook top. The mantel above the cook top with decorative corbels adds visual interest to this very functional kitchen. The use of the masonry fireplace in the breakfast room adds a feeling of warmth to the kitchen.
Sunken Wine Grotos
The sunken wine grotto was designed to draw people to a private place for conversation while enjoying the tastes of wine. Our company seeks to create spaces for people to connect with one another and this sunken wine grotto fulfills that goal.
Specialty Projects
In creating this tree house, the views of the lake and golf course were paramount. However with the structure 10 feet off of the ground the foundation and columns were engineered to insure proper support and structural integrity. This outdoor tree house project nestled among the pines and located 10 feet from water?s edge captivates the young at heart inviting you to explore this backyard retreat. Three walls were cantilevered out to maximize floor space accommodating the Murphy bed, stone fireplace and built-in desk. This is truly a one of a kind project.
